Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of when data exists and why we process it

This policy applies to the temporary inbox and forwarding alias services at temppin.com. Last updated: August 11, 2026.

What information we process

When you use a temporary email address, the service processes the system-generated address, access token, creation and expiration times, and the email content, sender information, and attachments sent to that address. When you use a forwarding alias, we also process your login email address, verification records, created aliases, forwarding status, and necessary delivery results.

To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues, servers may record request times, IP addresses, basic browser information, API results, and security events. We do not require temporary email users to provide their name, phone number, or payment information.

Purposes of processing

Retention and deletion

Temporary addresses have a default validity period of three hours. They may be extended where the product allows, but should not be considered long-term storage. After expiration, manually changing the address, or destroying the inbox, the address can no longer be accessed with the original token. System backups, security logs, and failure queues may take a limited period to be cleared.

Forwarding accounts and aliases are retained until you delete them, close the account, or the service handles them for security or compliance reasons. Deleting an alias stops future forwarding, but copies already delivered to an external email account must be managed in that account.

Sharing and service providers

We use service providers only as necessary for hosting, networking, email delivery, security protection, and troubleshooting support. Email forwarding inherently delivers content to the email provider you specify. We do not operate by selling personal information, nor do we read email content to build advertising profiles.

Security and limitations

We use measures such as access controls, token isolation, encryption in transit, and abuse monitoring, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Temporary email is not suitable for banking, medical or legal documents, password recovery, or any communication that requires long-term confidentiality and continued access.
